Newer calls, including prospective articling students, may be considered for the position. The candidate must be self-motivated, competent, confident, and eager to take on new challenges. Above all, the ideal candidate must have high ethical standards when dealing with clients and zealously advocate on their behalf and in their best interests.
Bachelor of Laws from an accredited Canadian Law school;
2 - 4 years experience;
Current member of the Law Society of Alberta;
Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills;
Highly focused with attention to detail; a motivated self-starter; and
Experience with and ability to handle all phases of litigation from initial consultation through trial.

Rigler Delacruz & Associates is seeking a highly motivated assistant/paralegal/conveyancer with a legal assistant certificate/diploma or a business administration certificate/diploma and at least 1 year of experience in a related field or at least 2 years experience as a general administrative assistant.
Successful applicants should:
Have good technical skills, including proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications (including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook);
Have a strong knowledge of basic office operations;
Be comfortable working in a busy law practice;
Be mature, trustworthy, and a team player;
Have great organizational skills and be attentive to detail; and
Be fluent in English, written and verbal, with fluency in other languages being an asset.
